Home > Forum > Operator terminals (Weintek) > Cumulative failure icon creation from history
I am using a Weintek MT8102iE panel to interface via Modbus to an existing PLC. The panel in question should give me a summary of both some alarms and some technical faults, however, where for the alarms I have cumulative bits from the PLC (I activate an icon when any alarm is present), for faults there is no I have it.
Now, I imported all the faults in the alarm panel to the 1 category and wondered if it is possible to activate an icon on the home page when there is any fault in the panel.
I hope I was clear and thank you in advance.
There is no cumulative alarm signaling bit on the iE series, this signaling is present only on the cMT family.
So I believe that the only possibility is that the PLC generates an alarm bit present (the classic bit for flashing light / siren) with which to display an image, a pop up or whatever you want on a specific page or on all pages if you put the object on the common page (Page 4).
Same thing you can do for the failures you still have to handle.
