I asked if you can view images in the operator terminal by reading them from a file in the file system of the terminal or from PenDrive USB.
May 17, 2018 at 12: 58 pm #44122Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumThe technique of displaying “random” images on the panel is widely used to convey advertising information or service information. I mention for example a terminal of a vending machine that displays advertisements on the products sold, a terminal on the elevator of a hotel that displays the menu of the day, etc.
To achieve this you can create windows with a background image (Object Picture) and then rotate them by means of a macro command on the terminal or PLC. But in this case, if you want to modify the displayed images, you are forced to transfer a new program to the terminal with the new images.
The item Picture View instead it allows to display on the terminal window an image that can be read by a PenDrive on USB (Screenshot). It is possible to define the path from which to acquire the image files to be displayed and from the PLC it is possible to define the file name.

The images are the "help" of the program and in case of software change I would not have to access the operator panel to reload the files on the USB key.
I tried through EasyAccess to create a pass-through on the HMI address and through FileZilla access the key, I set user: admin and standard password (111111) but it doesn't seem to be correct.
How can I do?April 24, 2019 at 8: 54 am #47362Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumFirst you need to enable in System setting of the panel the possibility of writing on USB via FTP, in this way you will be able to access the files of the pen drive from an FTP connection.
To access the panel in FTP you must use utente: uploadhis e password: 111111, the typical Windws resource explorer command is: ftp: \ _ uploadhis:[email protected]
