Home > Forum > SlimLine (Raspberry) > Installing additional packages
From what I understand this version yes SlimLine it has a Raspbian operating system on which the Axel runtimes for the programmable part in LogicLab also run. Can other custom packages be installed?
Specifically, it would be useful to install a gateway Thingsboard.
Of course you can install any application on the Raspbian operating system.
Il run time CODESYS or LogicLab use the I2C bus to communicate with our extension cards so if you activate one of these run time you will no longer be able to use the I2C bus in your applications.
We have applications that use Node-RED together with CODESYS or LogicLab, the data exchange between the applications is realized with a TCP socket or with OPC-UA (article).
