Home > Forum > Operator terminals (Weintek) > Manage recipes by PLC command
I would need, on a system where they have about 200 recipes, to be able to send a command from PLC to HMI to request the sending of a recipe, specifying the name with which it was saved.
In practice, the HMI receiving the string from the PLC must search for the recipe with that name and send it to the PLC. Do you have any idea if it is possible to realize this need?
I enclose the example Macro_Recipe (Screenshot, Download) that you can use as a base, in the example you will also find a pdf file explaining it. The example performs the search by defining the name from the terminal and pressing the search key.
You can modify it by receiving the name and the search confirmation from the PLC, by executing the search macro you can then transfer the recipe to the PLC or display it.
