The new version of the kernel V1.44 of the ATC-1000 Ethernet / Serial converter allows the firmware upgrade from Ethernet, by accessing the menu Administrator -> Firmware update (Screenshot) you can update the firmware. The access password is requested and, if correct, the firmware upload procedure begins.
Warning! Before entering the password and proceeding with the upload, make sure you have downloaded the firmware to be used for the upload from our site.
Once the password has been entered, the system starts by deleting the current firmware version from the FLASH and then asks for the file bin with the new firmware to load. Once the password has been entered, there are no other requests for confirmation, so if the new firmware file is not available, the converter will remain unusable. However, it is possible to retrieve the firmware and perform the upgrade at a later time.

April 11, 2018 at 6: 36 am #40074Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumATC supplied a series of ATC-1000 converters in which it was possible to upgrade the firmware, and the menu item reported in the topic refers to that series. The subsequent series of products unfortunately did not maintain the possibility of firmware upgrade, hence the reason for the disappearance of the menu item. As of today, the firmware version of the product is "V1.44.3.10 2017/06/29". But precisely to meet the new demands of the market by offering new features (including the firmware upgrade) while maintaining a range of similar price ATC now offers the model ATC-1200.
