I purchased a Cloud HMI cMT-SVR terminal I connected it to the network router which has a DHCP server but now how can I find out the IP address assigned to the device?
December 11, 2013 at 4: 18 pm #37921Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumThe Cloud HMI cMT-SVR terminals are configured by default to acquire the IP address from a DHCP server, having no display for viewing the simplest way to know the IP address is via an iPad in which the App is installed. CloudHMI, the same operation is possible from the program EasyBuilder Pro (Screenshot).
By running the App, the window will appear showing all the terminals found in the wireless network; By clicking on the GO key you go to the panel page display and you can operate on the components (Screenshot). By touching the button at the top right you can switch to the thumbnail view, all the terminals connected to the iPad are displayed and simply by touching them you can switch from one to the other. In this screenshot there is only one terminal connected.

Settings are possible both from the CloudHMI App and from a browser. By typing the IP address of the terminal in the browser, the access password is requested (by default 111111), upon typing which the settings page is displayed from which it is possible to make all the desired settings (Screenshot).
December 28, 2013 at 4: 28 pm #37950LucaParticipantGood morning, does it work only with IoS or even with Android?
December 30, 2013 at 7: 10 am #37951Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumCurrently there is an App only for IoS it may be that in the future an Android application will also be released.
Correction July 2014, the app for Android is also available on Google Play see product page.December 14, 2014 at 1: 08 pm #38593DamianoParticipantHi on traditional HMI systems there is a VNC server for remote access, is it possible to access remotely on this model?
December 16, 2014 at 8: 58 am #38594Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumThis is a model that, as the name "Coud HMI" says, was born for remote access in fact it does not have its own monitor but can only be viewed via apps on external devices, tablets or smartphones IOS, Android, Windows.
Not having the graphic application that "runs" inside it does not have access from VNC but can be accessed with the app and the graphic application "turning" in the app is very fast, limiting bandwidth consumption to management only variables and not all graphics.
Now in the local network access is direct, remotely a VPN must be created between the Cloud HMI and the network to which the display device is connected (tablet, smartphone, etc.). For this purpose, EasyAccess 2.0 can also be used (Topic).
