Home > Forum > Operator terminals (Weintek) > Operation of the timetable in an MT8050i panel
Good day, I have several weintek model MT8050i panels connected to different PLCs, in one of them I have data logging of 5 variables, the problem is that when for some reason the power supply is disconnected, the date and time settings are reset to 2000/01/01, now 00:00:00.
Is there the possibility of keeping the set date and time in memory?
As you can see from the characteristics, the MT6050i and MT8050i panels are the only ones in the Weintek range that do not have the real time clock with backup operation. The solution adopted with these panels is to use the real time clock from the PLC to which the panel is connected (Topic). It is usually recommended to always use a single clock source between the PLC and the terminal to always have the date / time value synchronized between PLC and panel.
If you want the real time clock with backup operation you have to upgrade at least to the 7 "version (MT8070i), or upgrade to the new series MT8000iE where it is available across the range. For the moment, however, the 4.3 ″ model is not yet available.
