I have a Weintek mod. 8071iE. All the programmed functions always work flawlessly, except in 5 or 6 cases recorded in 4 months of excellent continuous operation h24. The phenomenon occurs, randomly, when you try to reactivate the display by touching the screen darkened for the programmed intervention of the backlight saving set on 15 minutes with the check on the backlight enabling box when an alarm is active.
In fact, the terminal, in these rare cases, remains "hibernated" making normal interface operation with the PLC impossible (a Siemens S7-1200 CPU connected in Profibus) if not removing, for a few seconds, the power supply of the panel, restarting the runtime.
Having used the system for a home automation solution with multiple functions (burglar alarm, programmable thermostat, kitchen timer, lighting management, etc ...) when the defect occurs with the burglar alarm inserted, it happens that, unable to enter the password to disarm the alarm, I have to suffer the 105 dB of the internal siren for all the time required by restarting the terminal.
Being determined to make the system perfect, stable and durable I ask if there are any suggestions and to know if the defect is to be found in the firmware, programming or hardware.
