Home > Forum > INVT vector inverters > INVT inverter GD20-EU > Use of remote keyboard on inverter
I have seen that there is a remote keyboard as an accessory, but in the documentation it is reported that in models above 4Kw it is possible to remote the keyboard.
I was wondering what difference there is in using the remote keypad and in remoting the standard present one on the inverter.
All INVT inverters are supplied with the standard keyboard, in the small models (sizes less than 4 Kw) the keyboard is an integral part of the container and therefore it is not removable. From size 4Kw and above, the inverter keyboard can be removed and placed on the panel, if necessary the mounting support to be ordered separately.
Una remote keyboard with the parameter copy function is available for all inverters this keyboard allows you to transfer the parameters from one inverter to another (See topic). In small inverters (sizes lower than 4Kw) it is possible to use this keyboard as a remote keyboard, by connecting it to the inverter the keyboard on board is disabled. This keyboard can also be mounted on the panel with the appropriate support.
Any CAT5 patch cable can be used to connect the remote keyboard with the parameter copy function to the inverter maximum cable length is 2 meters.
Any CAT5 patch cable, the maximum cable length is 15 meters.
