I'm trying to create a backup file of the whole system (Configuration + FW + project + memories) in one SlimLine:
Name: SlimLine Cortex M7 Firmware: SFW198E070 Bootloader: SFW200A220 TargetID: Mps054_XUnified_1_0
With the command: Update -mk cefprw C:/FW.UPL
But the command fails in the end:
[...] Name:webpages/Protocols.html Start address:0x00000000 End address:0x0000D5F0 Length:54769 Error file write! Command execution error
In the log I see:
20/03/2023, 18:51:14.741 [SFR051][3380] Not enough cluster vs required
There is probably not enough space on C. I then inserted a 16G SD formatted in FAT32, but here is the result of the command
[Admin]> Update -mk cefprw D:/FW.UPL -------------------------------------------------- Infos saving Error: impossible to create file infos "D:/UplInfos.ini"! Command execution error
From FTP I can upload files to the SD but only if the name is totally capitalized.
Do I need to reformat the SD to FAT_32_ELS?
But in doing so to copy the backup file to the PC I have to download it from FTP and I can't simply put the SD in the reader.March 21, 2023 at 2: 04 pm #71032Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumIn fact we noticed a BUG, by running the backup the temporary file is created UplInfos.ini on the defined disk.
Now having formatted the SDCard in FAT32, as indicated in this article, can only be used names with a maximum length of 8+3 and all in uppercase. So the temporary file cannot be created.
Waiting to solve the BUG on a next version of the operating system, I advise you to format the SDCard with the format FAT_32_ELS and to transfer the file to your PC, use an FTP connection.
