Home > Forum > Controllers SlimLine e Netsyst (LogicLab) > How to backup and restore retentive variables
I wanted to know how to save and reload the retentive and non-retentive variables from the PLC set by HMI in order to archive the data set.
This is to be able to reuse them on the next machine without having to rewrite them.
There are 2 possibilities:
Telnet access to the system, the command PLCCommand performs the backup/restore from file of the entire RETAIN area of DB.100. This command can only operate on DB100.
Using the FB FileMemoryDump, in this case you have to put the memory management in your program, this solution allows you the freedom of memory management to operate on.
