When I connect the PCB122D100 module to an MPS054 CPU and turn everything on, the PLC goes to sleep and the module starts to restart cyclically. The error I see from the CPU logs is the following:
18/09/2023, 12:27:01.450 [SFW198][5000] Md:0x0 CRC Exp:0x2C Rxd:0x80 18/09/2023, 12:27:01.462 [SFW198][5000] Md:0x0, Cd:0x2A, Too retries 18/09/2023, 12:27:01.463 [SFW198][6020] Error:5000 ApplID:0xC7A60F75 18/09/2023, 12:27:01.463 [SFW198][5050] Md:0x0, DI acquisition error 18/09/2023, 12:27:01.463 [SFW198][6010] Stop ApplID:0xC7A60F75
Is there anything I can do ?
This is a communication problem between the CPU module and the I/O module. The communication is on the I2C bus and the system checks each data packet in communication with a CRC and in case of error displays the error and performs a retransmission of the packet.
If there are many retransmissions, the “Too retries” error is reported and the program execution is reinitialized.
I think there is a problem on the communications bus on the CPU module or extension module. The only solution is to do a repair RMA of both modules and check them again.
