I was looking at the new CPU module based on Raspberry and I was wondering where I can get ...
Can I make interactive and a little complicated web pages? what the limit depends on ...
Are the systems reliable?
They are available, is it not that in a few months or years they no longer produce them or change their model?
Can I also develop the program with Axel's LogicLab?July 26, 2019 at 6: 56 am #48678Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumGiven that asking the innkeeper if the wine is good you run the risk of having a biased answer ... but I will answer your questions with sincerity.
WEB access, The module CPU PLC SlimLine Raspberry Pi it is based on the Raspberry Pi 3B + CPU and uses the well-known Raspbian OS based on Debian Linux. So you can do everything a Linux system allows you, install Apache as a web server, install PHP, MySQL, Node.js, Node-RED, etc. Having said that, you have to create HTML pages as you would on any web hosting. I found it very convenient to build the Node-RED user interface (See article).
Reliability, Raspberry modules are built in millions of pieces so the quality standard is very high. In many applications, modules are connected to the Raspberry module in a more or less approximate way to interface the field that all have other than the industrial one, and functional crash problems arise due to the realization of the system and not to the CPU module. In our system, the CPU module interfaces with I / O modules all galvanically isolated and already used for years in an industrial environment.
Traceability, of course the module is updated but the Raspberry foundation it keeps the layout so even the new modules can be used. The OS is Linux, so if the Raspberry module is no longer available, we can use another Linux-based CPU module while maintaining full compatibility.
Programmability, we supply products for industrial use so it is normal to use programming according to IEC-61131, it is possible use CODESYS or use LogicLab.
