Good evening everyone, I'm new and I apologize.
I'm starting to tinker with LogicLab, in Lad programming, I would like to start a timer by pressing a button, where can I find the timer?
July 26, 2021 at 7: 57 am #60673Sergio BertanaAdministrator ForumElsist for the development environment LogicLab provides various libraries with functions and function blocks for the most varied uses, the complete list divided into categories is find here.
There are several FBs for managing timers, the most used, ie the timer delayed on excitation is called eTON and this is his manual page. As you can see from the manual, the FB is located in the eLLabStdLib library, so you can connect the library or import the object into your project (In this video tutorial we explain the difference).
In the manual at the bottom of the page there are also examples of using the timer in different languages, the example in ladder language must be recreated in your project, while the examples in textual languages can be directly copied and pasted into your project (See explanation).
But if you notice at the top of each example the demonstration program that contains it is indicated (for the timer it is the Ptp115), it will suffice download the sample program and you will already have your example ready.
Since you are starting with LogicLab I suggest you look at ours video tutorial.
