CMT SVR-100 connection to PLC over RS232

I’m having troubles connecting cMT-SVR100 to Delta DVP ES2 PLC over RS232. This should be supported, and I had it working over the MT6103ip before switching the HMI. Both projects are identical, and the pinout should be exactly the same. The only possible difference I can think of is the connection parameters.

Non ci sono differenze nel driver di comunicazione tra la famiglia iP e la famiglia cMT, quindi se i parametri di comunicazione sono impostati correttamente deve comunicare.

Eventualmente puoi provare a fare un progetto nuovo solo con la gestione di una variabile BOOL e magari testarlo in simulazione su PC. SE funziona sul simulatore deve funzionare anche sul pannello cMT reale.

In caso non funzioni è sicuramente un problema di cablaggio della connessione RS232.

I should have mentioned that both projects are test projects, with only bool PLC variable. The online simulation does not help as it says its not connected to a PLC. This is also evident as the COM1 light does not flash on the DVPES2, like it does with the  MT6103ip. So there is probably no connection from the SVR-100 to the PLC. My concern is fixing this though.

I’ve tried this on 2 CMT-SVR-100s. One completely brand new, both with latest OS. This problem has completely stumped me. I might try get RS485 working with the 6103ip, then try it instead?

Yes you can try to run the project on the MT6103iP, if it works on it you are sure that the project is correct.

But if the project worhs on MT6103iP it has to work also in the SVR-100… if not yoy have probably awrong connection between it and the PLC.

This issue has been fixed. For those who have stumbled upon this same problem, pressing the reset pin and waiting ~2 minutes after programming the SVR-100 fixes the issue.
