Il Gateway Modbus TCP a RTU/ASCII ATC-3002 è basato sul convertitore GC enhanced xport della GridConnect (User guide). Il dispositivo è configurato di fabbrica per essere raggiungibile da ethernet all’indirizzo IP 192.168.2.3, basterà settare il proprio PC nella stessa classe di indirizzi (Esempio 192.168.2.10) e digitare nel browser http://192.168.2.3 per accedere (Lasciare le credenziali vuote).
Nel caso in cui non sia possibile raggiungerlo da ethernet, è possibile connettersi in seriale, con un terminale (Esempio Toolly) impostato a 9600, n, 8, alla accensione del convertitore inviare consecutivamente il carattere “x” ed attendere la risposta, ecco il risultato.

Come si vede dopo un certo numero di x il convertore ha risposto e premendo “Enter” ha visualizzato l’help con i comandi possibili. Ora è possibile configurarlo a piacere oppure con il comando “D” settarlo a default.
